Mum wins Mortal Kombat XL tournament with newborn in her arms.

Introducing children to video games for the first time is, in my humble opinion, a milestone moment in a gamer family dynamic. For me, it was watching my Dad play through a spooky section of Super Mario World and being fascinated that boo didn't follow him when that chubby little plumber was staring at them. For my eldest, it was her seeing my wife playing Disney Dreamlight Valley and being encapsulated that Elsa was following Mummy around.
But when is the right time to introduce the little ones to video games? When they're old enough to hold a controller? How about when they can comfortably sit next to you, passively enjoying the passage of pixels? Try five days post-partum! That's what happened with ‘Legi0n,' a mother who won a local Mortal Kombat XL tournament with her newborn in her arms. Pretty badass.
This might be the most based picture I've taken to date.

As originally reported by Dexerto, baby Cereza was born on September 22, 2025, via C-section (which wasn't without some complications). On a “last-minute” whim, Legi0n and her husband decided they'd compete in a local fighting game tournament, taking Cereza along for the ride. Legi0n, with her new baby in her arms, worked her way through her four-player bracket (beating her own husband) to become the grand final winner.
In a final 3-2 victory, Legi0n took home $28 in winnings and a tickets to DreamHack Atlanta. “So glad that we honestly left the house and did this,” she wrote on Twitter/X. "“Our daughter’s so chill around noise and car rides...I never want to stop doing things that I love, I just need to adjust my life accordingly for our younger daughter.”
😭😭 Babality!

Legi0n has been quite open about her latest pregnancy journey, which came after the passing of her first daughter, Alcina, due to a tumour caused by Kasabach Merritt Syndrome. She's using her viral spotlight from the fighting game scene to make people aware of NORD (National Organization for Rare Diseases). NORD received some of Alcina's medical records in the hopes doctors and researchers can learn something about the condition which will help future children struggling with the condition.
